We are looking for a QA Tester with State/Govt exp. for a 12+ month contract in Augusta, Maine. It is onsite in Augusta, ME. Job Description: Skill 1 Software testing Skill 2 Strong attention to details Skill 3 Experience writing and executing test cases and test scripts The Quality Assurance Tester (QAT) provides software testing services for the Maine Judicial Branch's (MJB) new suite of eFiling of Court Case Management System (CMS). The QAT will be primarily responsible for testing the 2023.0.xx version of Tyler's Enterprise Justice CMS. Testing services will be performed at the direction of the QA Lead or project managers. The QAT will need to work collaboratively with key subject matter experts, project team members, vendors and other justice partner stakeholders. This QAT will be responsible for regression testing, integrations testing, as well as unit testing new software features and functions. The QAT will also be responsible for writing and executing adequate test plans, test cases and test scripts. The position will perform testing of electronic court forms, custom-built reports or jobs, and other applications as directed. The QAT will be responsible for reporting and tracking software defects or bugs throughout various break/fix cycles. The QAT should be knowledgeable of, or prepared to learn about, MJB applications and the business practices and policies of the Maine state. court system.
