The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex Workday projects, demonstrating expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and a comprehensive understanding of government processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for Workday implementations, upgrades, and optimizations within government agencies. Develop and execute project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical experts, functional consultants, and government stakeholders, to achieve project objectives. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government clients, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Understand client needs and objectives, translating them into actionable project deliverables. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly. Leverage in-depth knowledge of government processes, policies, and regulations to provide valuable insights and guidance during project planning and execution. Navigate complex government environments, adapting project strategies to align with bureaucratic requirements and compliance standards. Collaborate with government agencies to gather and document detailed functional and technical requirements for Workday implementations. Analyze existing systems and processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and process automation. Work closely with functional and technical teams to design solutions that meet government clients' unique needs while adhering to industry best practices. Oversee the configuration of Workday modules, ensuring they align with government-specific workflows and regulations. Develop testing strategies and oversee the testing process to validate the accuracy and functionality of Workday solutions. Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts, collaborating with government stakeholders to ensure successful implementation. Develop change management strategies to guide government clients through the transition to new Workday processes and systems. Provide training and support to end-users, facilitating the adoption of new technologies and processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management qualification (preferred) Minimum of 4 years of experience managing complex Workday implementations, with a focus on government clients. Solid understanding of government processes, regulations, and compliance requirements. Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, relationship building, and effective communication within government settings. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive toward solutions. Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management abilities.
