As a Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving technical excellence, guiding a team of engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative customer engagement experiences. The Opportunity: Lead a team of engineers in the design, implementation, and support of Genesys Cloud solutions, including the migration of Genesys on-premises to cloud. Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions. Integrate Genesys Cloud with other systems and applications. Maintain and support Genesys Cloud solutions. Stay up to date on Genesys Cloud technologies and best practices. Mentor and train junior engineers. Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs to ensure smooth data exchange and communication between different systems. Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and knowledge base articles, to ensure effective knowledge transfer and support. Perform the migration of Genesys on-premises to cloud, including: Analysing the current on-premises environment Designing the cloud-based solution Migrating data and applications to the cloud Testing and validating the migrated solution Own the development cycle as per the defined business requirements and technical specifications. Coordinates on-call support and ensures effective monitoring of customer test and production systems. Participate and assist in setting direction at the project/service level and influence decision-making. Identify and propose strategies around technical problems affecting the project, communicate standards and get buy-in on solutions. What you need: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in cloud computing. 5+ years of experience with Genesys Cloud. Experience with system architecture and software development. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience leading and managing a team. Experience with Genesys on-premises migration. Genesys cloud CX certified developer or architect certification is essential. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong Communication Skills.
