Position: RPA Business Analyst / Process Analyst Location: Austin, TX// Remote Duration: 12+ Months Description The RPA Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing automation solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve operational processes within the organization. They collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to identify automation opportunities and oversee the development and deployment of RPA bots. Responsibilities: Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with business units to understand their processes, workflows, and pain points. Identify and evaluate potential areas for automation using RPA technology. Document current processes and create detailed process flowcharts. Process mapping tools such as Visio are desirable. Requirements Gathering: Elicit and document clear and concise business requirements for RPA projects. Work closely with business stakeholders to define project scope and objectives. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for RPA developers. Solution Design: Collaborate with RPA developers to design automation solutions that align with business needs. Create solution design documents, including process maps, data flow diagrams, and user stories. Ensure scalability and maintainability of RPA solutions. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test plans and test cases to validate RPA bot functionality. Conduct thorough testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of RPA solutions. Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation for RPA solutions, including user guides and training materials. Provide training and support to end-users and business stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in RPA or process automation projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with RPA tools and technologies (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath,) is a plus. Knowledge of business process modeling and optimization techniques. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
