Position: SDET Location: Iselin, NJ Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: Software Develop in Test(SDET) Position We are looking for a QA / Automation Engineer to be part of a growing agile team working on ground-up development of our flagship mobile platform. In this fast-paced environment, the individual will develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure application quality. Responsibilities of the QA / Automation Engineer include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining/reporting corrective actions for both mobile and desktop platforms. This role plays an important part in the Company's overall application development process. Responsibilities include: Design, develop and execute automation suite Work with application and business teams to understand the end-to-end flow and data needed to test the application(s) Translate user stories into working test plans and test cases Identify, record, thoroughly document, and track bugs, adding to our automation suite Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Automated and manual testing of deliverables Participate in agile activities (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, iteration review, retrospective) Requirements: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject 7+ years' experience in an engineering role (software, QA, Automation, etc.) Knowledge of SDLC and App development Solid knowledge of Bash programming Experience with one or more Automation tools (Selenium, TestComplete, etc.) Possess a working understanding of APIs and knowledge of API testing tools Knowledge of working with CI/CD pipelines and jobs Strong verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail Delivery: Git, Jenkins, SonarQube Cloud Base: Docker Cloud Provider: AWS Teamwork: JIRA, Teams, Slack Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment quality analyst microsoft New Jersey |
