Note This is completely onsite position from Day One Position - Workday Integration Consultant Location Santa Clara,CA// Onsite Exp. + yrs Contract Ro les & Responsibilities Analyzes business requirements or issues, converts analysis to functional specifications, and designs solutions to meet cross functional business requirements or resolve issues. Performs and documents software application configuration, prepares and executes testing scenarios and scripts (unit, integration, performance, regression, acceptance) and plans data conversions. Provides business application functional support for HR projects. Monitors specific IT systems or set of systems for availability, performance, and capabilities; reports anomalies through predefined process. Participates in evaluation and recommendation of patches, point releases, major upgrades, and new systems. Delivers projects in area of responsibility within allocated budget, scope, and timeline. May be responsible for planning and executing small to mid-size projects and/or for timely renewal of maintenance and subscription contracts. May serve as a team lead on a larger, complex project. Adheres to and guides junior staff and contingent workers to adhere to corporate procedures and methodology for project management, software application development, testing, service management, change management, RCA, and other relevant processes, standards, governance and controls. May manage execution of SOX controls and tests, and support internal and external audits. Responsible for the selection, on-boarding and off-boarding of contingent workers in a timely manner. Manages contingent worker project/task assignments and ensures work product quality. Approves contingent worker time sheets/invoices and/or SOW milestone deliverables. Desirable Functional Skills 3-5 years project management experience, Agile or PMP certification preferred. 4-7 years hands-on business process configuration experience with Workday modules like HCM, Talent, Recruiting is mandatory. Hands on experience building Workday reports, integrations and webservices. Understands Workday security features and controls, knowledge of SOX and data privacy regulations. Experience working with diverse HR related cloud applications (e.g. benefits, training content providers) and an understanding of how these integrate with core HR systems such as Workday and Saba. Previous experience with Saba and/or ServiceNow is preferred. Must possess HR functional knowledge and understand HR business processes. Ability to holistically understand internal and external applications and how they integrate with each other. Ability to perceive and understand business context in which applications are used. Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and support full life-cycle configurations and integrations. Experience using other data analytics and reporting applications such as Hadoop or Tableau is preferred Ability to communication appropriately to multiple levels in the organization, including customers, peers, executives, and upper management. Must be confident and comfortable presenting in front of peers and customers. Must possess excellent English communications both verbal and written. Analytical team player, able to learn quickly, comfortable working within a matrix management environment. Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small to medium sized projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies. Ability to explain complex, difficult, or sensitive information to others; works to build concensus.
