JIRA Global Administrator

Remote - 
We would like
someone in the US, nearshore location or other location that can work similar
hours to our Business teams in the Pacific and Eastern time zones. Must have
their own laptop to work on this project.

Contract Length: 6 months++

Job Description:

We
require a Senior level (expert) Jira Global Administrator with all the required
knowledge

Must Have Skills

Senior
level Jira Administrator with background on both global administration and
project level.

Strong
background in setting up newly created instances,

Strong
background in best practices for both governance and also setup,

Must
have the ability to communicate well and even further instruct our team on
what they are doing, working on, setting up.

Understand
what setup was and how best to manage that project, and all projects going
forward

Ability
to not only help set up the Jira instance, but also able to explain
verbally the steps they are taking and that we as a team need to take
going forward.

Strong
background as a contractor that is a team player and will knowledge
transfer to us.

Ability
to help us train and learn the differences in global administration and
project admin.

Jira
service management, does and donts. What can we utilize it for

Ticketing,
internally how do we interact with teams and their service requests.
Again, starting from scratch what is the best model for us to implement
and explain that to us/show us

Document
both decisions made by themselves, but also helping to own documentation
well form as a team surrounding jira and governance.

Our
team has ownership of administration for Jira going forward. Help us to
understand what that means and how to manage that set of duties.

Currently
there are two different teams in our instance, not including my own
support team. Helping us to understand how to manage the instance itself,
what should we know now while we are small in usage that will help us
avoid problems down the road.

If
there are integration abilities between Jira ServiceNow, confluence,
ADO, other tooling we own. That will also be a plus for us as we mature.
