As the Functional SAP S/4 HANA Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA solutions tailored to our organization's specific needs within the metals and manufacturing domains. Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, processes, and challenges within the metals and manufacturing sectors. Lead the design and architecture of SAP S/4 HANA solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business goals. Provide expert guidance on system configuration, customization, and integration to meet business requirements effectively. Drive the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, including project planning, scoping, blueprinting, realization, testing, training, and post-go-live support. Define data migration strategies and oversee data cleansing, transformation, and migration activities. Lead workshops and discussions with cross-functional teams to identify and address business process gaps, ensuring the successful alignment of SAP capabilities with business needs. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth integration of SAP S/4 HANA with existing systems and infrastructure. Provide mentoring and knowledge sharing to team members and business users, promoting a strong understanding of SAP functionalities. Stay updated with the latest SAP S/4 HANA advancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Extensive experience working as a Functional SAP professional, with a focus on SAP S/4 HANA implementations within the metals and/or manufacturing sectors. In-depth knowledge of metals and manufacturing industry processes, challenges, and best practices. Proven expertise in SAP S/4 HANA architecture, design, configuration, and integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address complex business requirements. Experience with Greenfield implementation projects, demonstrating the ability to guide projects from conception to successful deployment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. SAP certifications in relevant modules or solutions would be a plus. Ability and willingness to travel as needed for project-related activities.
