Please send across the resume earliest to [email protected] Job Title: MongoDB DBA Location: Irving, TX (onsite Hybrid) Job Description Experience Need 6+ Years resume here Looking for a Mongo Database Administrator with multiple DBMS skills to run the next generation DB hosting platform. Job Description: Deploy and maintain MongoDB databases/DB projects Manage and maintain both MongoDB servers across multiple environments. In-depth understanding of MongoDB HA strategies, including replica sets and sharding Design & implement sharding and indexing strategies for MongoDB Implement and maintain MMS (MongoDB Management Services) Administer MongoDB to achieve 100% availability Experience with MongoDB scaling across data centers Experience in managing oracle databases. Perform VTM vulnerability and patch upgrades Configure, implement and maintain multiple Oracle Instances with multi-node RAC clusters under Linux Research and resolve oracle software and database problems Establish and maintain backup and recovery processes Establish database security procedures. Monitor and tune performance of MongoDB Databases. Perform quarterly RCSA compliance testing of Databases Evidence collection in support of audit deliverables Qualifications At least 6 years experience with multiple DB environments including Oracle 11gR2/12c, and MSSQL 2012/2014 required. Strong experience with MongoDB. 4+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB scaling across data centers and/or in-depth understanding of MongoDB HA strategies, including replica sets and sharding. In depth experience with MongoDB, replicasets, shards, and distributed databases. Knowledge/ experience in Hadoop is a plus Experience with Oracle RAC, OEM, RMAN, and Dataguard replication is a plus Experience with Actifio for database protection and backups is a plus Strong background in replication technologies is desirable. Knowledge of additional DBMSs such as oracle is a plus. Must have strong UNIX/AIX background. Must have a strong problem research and resolution skills. Must have performance monitoring and tuning background. Must have worked in a large, complex OLTP Database environment. Highly self-motivated with the desire to embrace new database technologies and must be able to work independently and within a team in a high demand and dynamic environment Must be a good team player and work well with others.
