| From: vivek kumar, vyzeinc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role : Azure Test Engineer Location: Hybrid, Vienna, VA Duration:12+month MOI: skype MUST HAVE: Requirements MUST have testing experience on Azure cloud platform using Databricks notebook (SQL) Experience with System Integration Testing and synthetic data generation The Data Testing Engineer plans and manages processes through the life cycle of data analytics, advocates for data integrity and availability, and drives resolution of issues that impede the quality assurance effort Work in the Enterprise Data and Information Management team in the Information Services Department Experience with managing testing efforts across multiple data products and bring to market related enterprise capabilities in cloud Require experience with integration, regression, performance, and functional testing to ensure compliance with business requirements and Navy Federal business practices Must cultivate effective engagement with business stakeholders on User Acceptance Testing to ensure deliverables meet expectations Assist in the analysis of functional and technical requirements and creating test plans for data products Ability to drive initiatives independently Collaborate in Testing for enterprise data analytics products Validate data source, data transformations in Target state tables in Data Lake Ensure timelines/deadlines/quality of deliverables Ensure processes and procedures are in place to drive quality through the software development life cycle Lead testing from inception to completion of successful production implementation Develop test plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications Write automation test plans, identify test cases, document testing strategy Create, modify and/or locate the data and conditions needed to execute test cases Modify, coordinate, and schedule input to maintain the test environments Create and edit test cases in accordance with business requirementsIdentify areas for improved testing processes Facilitate defect management and resolution Report testing metrics including time spent, testing time lost, and discrepancies found Ensure clear, concise, and effective communication of material Promote agile principles and methodology Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience Experience in testing in Databricks Notebook using SQL/spark scriptz Knowledge of development or operations framework methodologies, including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience in testing data integration processes Experience with Agile software development practices and tools including Scrum, Azure Boards, JIRA, Git, CI/CD, etc. Experience with executing test plans on Cloud data services Experience in software development with proficiency in relevant coding languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Java) Experience designing, implementing, and validating test plans Experience writing test automation scripts Experience with test management tools Experience with test automation frameworks Experience with application performance monitoring and observability tools Experience in testing complex derivations in Azure Knowledge of master data/reference data technologies and implementation approaches Knowledge of NoSQL Attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate and document defects Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills Organizational, planning and time management skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Effective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment Virginia |
