At least 5 years Java At least 5 years software development experience At least 2 years of Eclipse IDE Responsible for performing, and providing assistance in, the following activities: Develop and debug application code Design java classes Keep all applications using current technology, upgrade when necessary. Conduct unit, integration, and customer acceptance testing Prepare code and application documentation Front-End Development: MUST HAVE the following: (Note: only count towards experience if used on a previous or current client development project.) At least 5 years HTML At least 2 years extensive UI development using CSS, JavaScript, JSF Relational Database: MUST HAVE the following: (Note: only count towards experience if used on a previous or current client development project.) At least 2 years working with Microsoft SQL Databases (v2016-v2019), SQL, DB2 or Oracle At least 5 years working with relational databases. Candidate provides production support for small and large, simple and complex applications including the ability to resolve problems in constrained timeframes. Candidate may be responsible for mentoring less experienced team members. Candidate may lead small-to-medium projects or components of larger projects. Candidate has strong organization, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience must be current within the last year. Candidate will be on Call on a rotating schedule, but also may be called into work on evenings and/or weekends if the project requires immediate attention. on Call rotating schedule. The web team has a primary and secondary on Call phone. Those in the on Call pool rotate through a schedule of carrying the phone for a month at a time. Currently it is about 2-3 months per person per year. on Call is responsible for carrying the phone 24x7, answering the phone 24x7, and either contacting others or fixing the issue themselves if it is an application they are familiar with. Historically, on Call staff receives 1-2 calls per month. If the developer on Call is able to work this issue on their own, they can do so remotely.
