We have urgent requirement with one of our Direct clients (No hidden Layers) , please review below job description and let me know your interest Title: Infrastructure Project Manager Duration: 12 months+ Location/Site: North Chicago, IL (ONSITE) Description: Purpose: Develop, execute and manage IT projects within the defined scope. Expedite, manage and coordinated a multitude of interrelated IT project activities within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of projects. Project Manager will be responsible for directing, executing and managing of Small to Medium (1 1,000,000) dollar projects) in the spaces of Infrastructure, Architecture, Identify Management, and Data Management. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Initiate and Plan IT Projects: Works with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives and deliverables. Project Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect projects working with division and cross divisional management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget Executing and Closing Projects: Develops and executes a work plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders. Project Communication: Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to Project Team, Division, Cross Division and Executive management. Makes recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues. Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based upon their abilities. Supervises, motivates and mentor cross-functional /cross divisional project team of project managers, business analysts, developers, and validation analysts. . Will lead Infrastructure Projects in various domains as required. Will be expected to present status to multiple levels of management. Will manage work with strong focus on Risk Identification and management. Strong collaboration and communication skills given the high degrees of strategic impact, change, project complexity, and potential senior executive interactions. Solid experience and understanding of tracking and managing project budgets and financials. Will work with a matrixed team, and possibly multiple vendors. Ability to think strategically and creatively Performs a variety of tasks. Will lead and direct the work of others. REQUIRED QUALIFICCATIONS: Bachelors degree in business, Computer Science, project management or related discipline. OR Associates Degree with 10+ years direct experience in IT Project Management. Minimum of 7 Years experience in IT project management, business systems analysis, or deployment, with a minimum of 5 years experience managing Infrastructure projects. Must have experience with migrations of Network Circuits, Firewalls, Voice and Data Infrastructure. Must have experience with Decommissioning Data Centers Total Combined Experience: 5 10+ years PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Clarity PPM tool. Familiarity with Organization Change Management or change management certification. Experience in Pharmaceutical or highly regulated quality environment preferred. PMP Certification. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt ITIL Certification Years of experience/education and/or certifications required: Bachelors degree in business, Computer Science, project management or related discipline. Or Associates Degree with 10+ years direct experience in IT Project Management. Minimum of 7 Years experience in IT project management, business systems analysis, or deployment, with a minimum of 5 years experience managing Infrastructure projects What are the top 3-5 skills requirements should this person have Minimum of 7 Years experience in IT project management, business systems analysis, or deployment, with a minimum of 5 years experience managing Infrastructure projects. Must have experience with migrations of Network Circuits, Firewalls, Voice and Data Infrastructure. Must have experience with Building/Decommissioning Data Centers Project communication with Directors and above including presentations International/global experience and familiar with working through timezone and cultural differences. What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification Experience with Clarity PPM tool.
