Position: Appian Developer (Entry, Mid, Senior) Location: Washington, DC 20005 ( Hybrid - 2 days/week ) Duration: 12+ Months Contract No OPT/CPT/H1 Transfer Passport Number Must for H1/L2 EAD/H4 EAD Recently created LinkedIn will not fly. Entry Level: Minimum 5 Yrs IT experience with 2+ Yrs Appian Mid-Level: Minimum 8 Yrs IT experience with 4+ Yrs Appian Senior Level: Minimum 10 Yrs IT experience with 6+ Yrs Appian Essential Duties Provide oversight of design and implementation reviews, participate in, and lead as appropriate, design and implementation reviews during the lifecycle of a project for key business initiatives and core engineering projects before they go into production to ensure Operational Readiness Provide expertise in data modeling, system integrations, best-practices, and application testing. Partner with architecture/development teams on business planning session Provide reviews of existing solutions including tracking/remediating issues and gaps for resiliency, risk, and performance Able to do coding, peer review of code and design solutions in Appian. Type of Experience Minimum 8 years of IT experience with at least 3-4 years delivering solutions using Appian. Experience with Appian 20x/21x/22x versions, Ability to write complex Appian SAIL Code. Just not drag and drop Strong understanding of Appian Objects such as Sites, Records, Reports, Tasks, News, Actions, Expression Rules, Constants, Query Rules, Web API, Interface Rules, CDTs, Process Models. Constants, Decisions, Integrations, Connected Systems, Data Stores, Groups, Feeds etc. Have worked on three or more end to end Appian BPM implementation (Design/Develop/Deploy/Package) Experience in building frameworks and BPM concepts Sound Knowledge of Appian Process/Solution and Infrastructure Architecture (Infrastructure Architecture must include knowledge of Appian In-Memory KDB Engines, Sizing, Scaling Vertically/Horizontally) Sound Knowledge App Servers like JBOSS, TOMCAT etc. and Web Servers such as Apache etc. Expert in user interface development, engineering cross-browser, cross device compliant code Experience with application delivery using agile methodologies.
