Location: Malvern, PA(onsite day1/ hybrid) Responsibilities: Provide expert-level development and implementation of AWS based enterprise solutions. Integrates third-party products. Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved. Thoroughly understand AWS Application Integration, Analytics, Compute, Database, and Container services functions and technologies. Ensures the viability of IT deliverables. Recommends development options, including design reviews. Conducts testing, including functionality, technical limitations, and security. Elevates code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule. Submits change control requests and documents. Provides domain expertise in AWS application deployment methodology and development architecture standards. Resolves elevated issues and recommends improvements. Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues. Explains technical considerations at related meetings, including those with internal clients. Performs systems analysis activities. Works with cross-functional team members and communicates systems issues at the appropriate technical level for each audience. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 5 years of experience in Middleware roles that span across platform, and infrastructure engineering preferably within a financial service or related FinTech firm 3+ years of Hands-on development experience in Apache Kafka and/or Confluent, including topics, partitions, producers, consumers, and Kafka Streams 3+ years of Hands-on and development experience in building AWS API Integrations 3+ years of Hands-on and development experience in building AWS Unstructured Data Integrations Excellent verbal and written communication skills this role is heavily collaborative and often engages with stakeholders to gather and groom requirements Out of the box thinker with strong planning, and organization skills Strong development background in AWS. AWS Certification is a plus Solid understanding of messaging systems, event-driven architectures, and real-time data processing. Experience with other related technologies, such as Apache Kafka, Confluent, RESTful APIs, and microservices. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
