From: sravani, Nitya [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Sr System Engineer (Enterprise Engineer) Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) Work Authorization H4-ead, GC, USC Contract to Hire Description: End Point Engineering Aircrafts Solutions Team Sr Systems Engineer 1 year contract (not a set project with clear end date ongoing effort) could get extended and possible FTE opening in the future Very critical space must be very detail oriented Contractors are encouraged to be in the office a few days a week (HR may mandate in the office at some point main location will be Willis) Will need to be willing to be onsite at other Chicago locations (Chicago Reservation Aircraft Lab near Ohare, Arlington Heights and Mt Prospect locations) Candidate must be local to Chicago Some travel required (Seattle, San Fran, Houston) candidate must be available and willing to do so and must be flexible no set travel requirements at the moment Previous Airline experience is a big plus since this is an aircraft focused role Scripting and automation skills required (SCCM, WorkspaceOne) Someone with some Application Packaging experience Windows solutions Interview: TEAMS interview with Joel and Piyush and maybe Jorge will join if he is available, 1-2 rounds Past candidates we just not committed to the role and the other candidate left because of the return to office policy Job Details: The Aviation e-Enable Engineer provides technical expertise in the e-Enablement Group to strengthen the reliability, efficiency, and performance of the enterprise. It is critical that this role be a technical partner to implement established standards and procedures which support the enterprise's managed infrastructure along with ensuring operational stability. This role is responsible for developing new strategies, engineering, supporting, and implementing reliable solutions that maintain the integrity of the existing infrastructure. The engineer will be required to work effectively to establish synergies with IT, CDR, Avionics, Regulatory, and other peers across the enterprise. The primary key role of the Aviation e-Enable Engineer is to develop, engineer and deploy Aircraft Support products that will be used by the Avionics Technician as Tools/Aircraft Parts. These products are to support the maintenance and the operation of the aircrafts. Key duties: Gathering manufacturer, business, and technical requirements. Create detailed documentation for all engineering solutions. Create presentations and/or diagrams of the infrastructure, processes, and standards. Participating in the design, testing, evaluation, implementation, and support for multiple complex technical solutions. Knowledge of the Aircraft key interface points with the engineered solution: Wired or Wireless Knowledge of the different fleet technologies in use: ONS, CORE, AIMS. Understand Aircraft Data Loading and Unloading per fleet. Understand the process of rekeying an aircraft. Understand the different method of an Airplane via GATELINK, Cellular, Stacom. Manage the lifecycle complexity of the solutions (hardware, operating systems, software, systems tools, and IT processes). Understand each application function on a maintenance device with the ability to modify the behavior. Work closely with the Loadable Software Group, and Ground Infrastructure Group in all implementations. Consult with other business units (e.g., application development groups, Field Services Technical Support, etc.) to configure platforms for product installation. Design and document enterprise standards and procedures. Ensure platforms/systems conform to established enterprise/industry standards (systems management, security, operating systems, etc.) and reference models. Coordinate activities with internal/external technology owners/service providers. Create detailed documentation for all engineering solutions. Understand GBST, CSCT, DDM and LSAPL. Tasks to be performed: Software migration from Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) to VMware Workspace ONE, User Acceptance Testing, OSD testing, peer QA, documentation of the solutions, retiring older/unused packages, workstation automation, scripting, Aircrafts Application Profiles, Application Distributions, Administration of Device Management Tools. Work with Field Services and Vendor management on devices availability in Stores and help the supply chain of custody. Work with Cybersecurity and Digital Risk team for device Loss/Theft mitigation. Fleet Field Testing: 777-200, 777-300, 787-8,9,10, 737 MAX (Travel required) Skillset Desired: Extensive experience with VMware Workspace ONE, Workspace ONE Intelligence, Workspace ONE Access, Workspace ONE Enterprise Application Repository, MSI, MST, custom actions, Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM Current), registries, PowerShell, UAT, Windows 10, VMWare ESX, VMWare Workstation, Hyper-v, browsers. Prior experience with a globally diverse organization, Windows migrations, physical and virtual collaboration. Ability to independently problem solve and be self-directed, having attention to details, the ability to capture, organize and analyze information, and to communicate and collaborate within the team and with business partners. Perform well under high pressure situations, meet tight timelines, manage challenging assignments, and handle flexibly a variety of business needs. Experience - Required: Five years of progressively responsible work experience specifically in Enterprise Endpoint Engineering. 5+ years experience with integrating multiple complex solutions into one standard enterprise solution Experience - Preferred: O/S migrations Project Management Aircraft fleet difference knowledge Airline industry experience of the Technical Operations, Airport Operations and Safety PowerShell Scripting SharePoint and Team Channel administration Keywords: quality analyst information technology green card Illinois Montana |
