Position: - Informatica Admin Location: - Spring, TX (Onsite) Duration: - Long Term Contract Job Description Experience in installing, configuring, and upgrading Informatica platforms like MDM, IDQ, PC on Linux environments. 10 plus years of experience on MDM Admin related activities 5 plus years of Database exp preferably Oracle , SQL server 2017. Installs and configures the Informatica MDM suite. Installs and configures the JBoss and Tomcat application servers, plans and executes activities related to platform maintenance and software release management. Configures Informatica components and assists infrastructure team on installation, upgrades, hotfix patches and certificates installation. Configures user authentication with LDAP integration of MDM application using Active Directory. Conducts performance tuning on MDM application servers and configurations for optimal performance. Raises tickets with Informatica vendor for software product or functionality issues. Assists with MDM code migrations and cutovers during releases and go lives. Contributes to definition, review, documentation and communication of standards and best practices. Knowledge on Informatica PowerCenter and DataQuality products as well. Good knowledge on Linux and Windows. Working Knowledge of Linux/Unix OS Familiarity with the security setup. Familiarity with UNIX shell scripting & basic database concepts. Work collaboratively with technical staff, and business experts to develop solutions to business requirements and client problems. Should be able to communicate clearly with business and be able to create strong documentation for recommended approach. Experience in setting up DR environments for the application servers and Informatica applications. Troubleshooting skills to quickly recover platforms from issues.
