We have following positions for you please have a look and let us know if you are interested for the same Position : DB2 DBA Location : Detroit, MI -Day One Onsite Duration : 6+ Months Max Rate :$50/Hr on C2C Role : C2C Experience : 6+years JD: MUST have skills Good knowledge of db2 architecture, process model, and memory models Design, install, configure, and maintain DB2 databases. Ensure Database security, data integrity, and availability. Experience in DB2 upgrade to 11.1 and 11.5 Hands on experience in db2 patching (fix pack). Knowledge of db2audit and dart utilities. Experience in building new database environments. good knowledge of database access and user management. Experience in DBMS and query performance tuning. Develop and maintain database backup and recovery strategies. Understanding of AIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems (LUW). DB2 HADR, Shell Scripting, Data partitioning- DPF and Q-replication DB2 UDB Certification is added advantage. Troubleshoot database issues and resolve them in a timely manner. Good knowledge of ITL processes like Incident, Problem, and Change management. processes and ready to work in rotational shifts. Setup workload balancing using WLM. Controlling user transactions using DB2 Governor. Range and hash partitioning. Setup and resolving issue in log archiving. Configure federated schema objects. Experience on DB2 Information integrator. Experience on DB2 Connect gateway server.
