Position Overview: As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications that empower our clients to achieve their business goals. With a strong focus on Core Java and a deep understanding of various Java frameworks and technologies, you will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient Java applications. Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to define project requirements and specifications. Utilize your expertise in Core Java to create well-structured and reusable code that meets industry standards. Develop dynamic web applications using JSP (Java Server Pages), JSF (Java Server Faces), and Servlet technologies. Implement applications using the Struts framework, ensuring adherence to best practices and optimizing performance. Leverage your experience with EJB (Enterprise Java Beans) to build robust and secure enterprise-level solutions. Integrate applications with Oracle WebLogic Server to ensure seamless deployment and efficient runtime environments. Work closely with the database team to develop and optimize Oracle Database queries, procedures, and data models. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, providing effective solutions to ensure application stability. Stay updated with the latest Java trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend improvements to existing processes. Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing your knowledge and fostering a collaborative team environment. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards. Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 10 years of professional experience as a Java Developer, with a strong emphasis on Core Java and related technologies. Proven expertise in developing web applications using JSP, JSF, and Servlet technologies. Extensive experience with the Struts framework and building applications with EJB. Proficiency in working with Oracle WebLogic Server and deploying applications to it. Strong skills in Oracle Database development, including query optimization and data modeling. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of delivering high-quality solutions within deadlines. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams. Prior experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is a plus. Java certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional Java Developer, are advantageous but not required.
