From: pradeep, Shrive Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role : Java Architet with DevOps EXP Location : 100% Remote Work ( Candidate must live in the State of Wisconsin or be willing to relocate at the candidate's expense ) Interview Process : (Two rounds of interviews held virtually with final selection after second round) Job Description : Experienced DevOps Support Engineer (Application Architect III) for automation and support of the DOC Java DevOps environment. This position will automate the CI/CD pipeline and support development, deployment, integration, refactoring, and scripting needs for the DOC DevOps enviornment and offender management application systems. The candidate should have exposure and experience with tools built with Agile and DevOps principles in mind. This contractor will perform CI/CD automation, environment updates and upgrades, Java microservice development, refactoring and support in the DOC DevOps environment. These task assignments are required in order to support the integration development for DOC offender management systems, other state agencies, and external entities (i.e., State Local Law Enforcement and the FBI). This position will be responsible automating and optimizing our DevOps environment and support of the APIs and microservices. The contractor should have extensive exposure and experience in automating, developing, and supporting a Java DevOps environment: --Language (Java) Issue Management (Jira) CI/CD (GitLab, Rancher, ArgoCD, Nexus Repository, Kustomize, Maven) -- Unit tests (JUnit) Performance Test Scripts(JMeter) --Frameworks for backend (Spring Boot and Spring Cloud) Code Scan (SonarQube) App Scan (Prisma Cloud) Authentication and Authorization (KeyCloak, Okta, AzureAD) Containers (Docker) --Orchestration (Kubernetes) --Backend development principles (Database and cache, server, microservices and API (REST & SOAP). This position will also require strong soft skills such as; productivity and performance focus, problem-solving skills and solution-oriented attitude, cross-functional teams clear communication, customer-oriented and a collaborative spirit, proactivity in automating processes, curious and a continuous hunger for learning new innovative ways developing applications, an analytical mind, creativity and an open-minded attitude. Under the direction of the BTM managers, the Application Architect III is responsible for performing task assignments to modernize and support our existing DevOps environment. This position will perform the duties for the Data Systems Section as a Support Lead and a DevOps SME. These assignments are key to moving all of our web applications and integrations onto the new platform in the next 2+ years. The DevOps environment is imperative in order to meet the business demand of delivering new technology solutions in a timely manner.
