Job Description - The client needs a senior data analyst candidate at developing paginated reports in either SSRS or Power BI Key skills : Power BI, SQL, Python, Azure Role Title : Senior Data Analytics Specialist Location: - Hybrid (3 days/week in office, 2 days remote) in Austin, TX Duration: 6+ months CTH Work Authorization : USC/GC Only Interview : Video then Onsite Job Description: Expert at data visualization and advanced calculations using Power BI and DAX (all devices) Expert at developing optimized and well-formed SQL queries, preferably on Microsoft SQL server Experienced (2 5 years) at developing paginated reports in either SSRS or Power BI Experienced (2 5 years) in scripting analytics automation using Python and supporting modules Experienced (2 5 years) working with large, heterogeneous datasets in building and optimizing data pipelines, pipeline architectures, and integrated datasets using traditional data integration technologies and knowledge of how these are developed and managed in Microsoft Azure Experienced (2 5 years) developing in Agile SCRUM teams The ability to work with both IT and business in integrating analytics and data science output into business processes and workflows A firm understanding of data warehouse and database concepts Experienced with financial markets (Stocks, FX, Derivatives) Ability to articulate technical and status information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing Preferred Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, data management, information systems, information science or a related quantitative field or equivalent work experience is required.
