Position: UI/UX Designer Location: Columbus OH 43223 Onsite Client: State of Ohio (through Prime Vendor) Interview Type: In person Rate: $55/hr on c2c Need 8+ years profiles only. OPT / CPT / H1 Transfer / Recently created LinkedIn will not Fly. Description: DPS is seeking a UI/UX Designer with expertise in designing and prototyping desktop and mobile application - will work with CIMS 2.0 project team to design/develop user interface. The selected Consultant will be directly responsible for designing a modern and intuitive UI/UX and should have direct experience interacting with business users to create the UI/UX. They will work closely with the designated Business Users, IT supervisor, project managers, and other developers in an agile development environment. The Consultant, in working with ODPS staff, will be responsible for design/develop user interface using Prototyping Designer tools. The new applications will implement an N-tier architecture and comply with ODPS coding standards. During the interview process with the ODPS staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource consultant must also present or share their portfolio with samples. The resources experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offerors proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance. Resource will have a background check conducted by ODPS. Mandatory Skills/Experience 8 Years of verifiable experience in taking user interface requirements and using them to design graphical interfaces in applications. 8 years exp with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (JavaScript frameworks also acceptable) Advanced understanding of site architecture and designing intuitive user interfaces and navigations. 3 years exp with Designer tools. Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch or a similar tool. An ability to quickly learn new tools as they emerge. 5 years of experience designing and delivering products from start to finish as part of a cross-functional team Exposure to ASP.NET CSharp (C#) language. A demonstrable understanding of implementing secure UI design and coding practices for an ASP.NET MVC application. 8 years of experience developing a project within the AGILE methodology. Required Skills: 8 years experience in taking UI requirements and using them to design graphical interfaces in applications. 8 years experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (JavaScript frameworks also acceptable) Advanced understanding of site architecture and designing intuitive UIs and navigations. 3 years experience with Designer tools - Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch or similar tool. 5 years experience designing and delivering products from start to finish as part of a cross-functional team. Exposure to ASP.NET C# Required Demonstrable understanding of implementing secure UI design and coding practices for an ASP.NET MVC application. 8 years experience developing a project within the AGILE methodology. Desired Skills UI/UX Certification Knowledge and work experience in designing the user interface of native, cross-platform desktop and mobile apps. Verifiable experience with applications designed and developed in ASP.NET Core MVC applications. Expert level experience of building out conversational workflow diagrams. (Similar to flow diagrams). Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
