Complete Description: The selected Consultant will be directly responsible for designing a modern and intuitive UI/UX and should have direct experience interacting with business users to create the UI/UX. They will work closely with the designated Business Users, IT supervisor, project managers, and other developers in an agile development environment. The Consultant, in working with ODPS staff, will be responsible for design/develop user interface using Prototyping Designer tools. The new applications will implement an N-tier architecture and comply with ODPS coding standards. During the interview process with the ODPS staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource consultant must also present or share their portfolio with samples. The resources experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offerors proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance. Resource will have a background check conducted by ODPS. 1.Work on various stages of the product development process from discovery to research to design user interface. 2.Participate in meetings with stakeholders, business users, and engineering teams to understand and project UI requirements. **3.UI/UX Implementation: Translate wireframes and mockups into functional and visually appealing web pages, ensuring a seamless user experience. 4.Work with project managers, developers, and business analysts to brainstorm ideas, approaches, and design solutions. 5.Create wireframes, prototypes, and user-friendly designs that support complex business processes. 6.Test and iterate various product concepts with users; conduct user research and analysis to validate the design. 7.Experience in creating Design System Library for reusability. 8.Create a seamless UI handoff process to development team. 9.Ensure that user interface and experience designs follow best practices and comply with security requirements. **10.Integration with Backend: Work closely with backend developers to integrate front-end components. **11.Design and Code Maintenance: Regularly review and refactor to maintain a clean, scalable, and well-documented design and codebase. 12.Participate in backlog grooming sessions and other agile ceremonies to ensure Agile development teams have a good understanding of the proposed UI design to implement successfully. 13.Strong communication/ leadership skills. 14.Strong influence, collaboration, and negotiation experience. 15.Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines. 16.Ability to communicate ideas to a wide variety of stakeholders, lead discussions and creative activities, and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity. 17.Ability to lead and manage large design initiatives, including managing competing priorities with product and engineering peers. 18.Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills. 19.Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines. 20.Have strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the elicitation of system and/or user requirements. 21.Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills. 22.Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably use the English language. 23.Provides technical guidance and mentoring to technical staff. Mandatory Skills/Experience 1.8 Years of verifiable experience in taking user interface requirements and using them to design graphical interfaces in applications. 2.8 years exp with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (JavaScript frameworks also acceptable) 3.Advanced understanding of site architecture, and designing intuitive user interfaces and navigations. 4.3 years exp with Designer tools. Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch or a similar tool. An ability to quickly learn new tools as they emerge. 5.5 years of experience designing and delivering products from start to finish as part of a cross-functional team 6.Exposure to ASP.NET CSharp (C#) language. 7.A demonstrable understanding of implementing secure UI design and coding practices for an ASP.NET MVC application. 8.8 years of experience developing a project within the AGILE methodology. Desired Skills/Experience 1. UI/UX Certification will be highly advantageous. 2. Knowledge and work experience in designing the user interface of native, cross-platform desktop and mobile apps. 3. Verifiable experience with applications designed and developed in ASP.NET Core MVC applications. 4. Expert level experience of building out conversational workflow diagrams. (Similar to flow diagrams). 5. Expert level experience of working with UI/UX tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch or a similar tool. 6. Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
