DevOps Engineer Day 1 Onsite: 18850 N 56th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85054 Job Type: Contract Must Have Skills: 1. DevOps with CKA and CKAD certifications 2. Docker and Network Security 3. Any programming language like Python or Java NICE TO HAVE but having below would be a Huge Plus: Possess good understanding of TIMS environment. Experience at integrating with 3rd parties. Knows how to be working with proxies. Job Summary: Devops engineer with CKA and CKAD certifications Kubernetes platform. Responsible for CICD pipeline automations for AI implementations. Build the pipelines, automations in deployments, releases Troubleshoot issues and solutioning to the issues Should have CKA and CKAD certifications. Should have written some apps and know programming language Python Should have working experience with docker images, and network security.. Knows how to deploy apps across environments. Knows how to Test , troubleshoot and debug Roles & Responsibilities Essential Functions: Accountable for creating application and infrastructure performance & Chaos test plans/models for a highly scalable, low-latency, highly-available and high-throughput payment processing system. Perform chaos testing on a distributed system in order to build confidence in the systems capability to withstand turbulent conditions in production. Work with the architects and development team to ensure proper metrics instrumentation done in software components. KRA-1: Establishing a strong community of engineers: * Define growth path for team members based on career lattice * Identify changes required to the career lattice * Demostrate appreciation of diversity and inclusion in professional interactions * Highlight any observable deviations in areas of diversity and inclusion * Take concious effort to improve the diversity quotient of the teams during recruitment * Organize educational, inspiring, bonding community events (in-person and virtual) * Conduct hiring discussions * Identify potential retention risks and take mitigation measures * Formulate evaluation criteria for recruitment * Participate in college recruitment, summer programs, hackathons, job fairs, etc to attract new hires to Cognizant * Facilitate mentorship process in a small community of members * Mentor the team on community brand positioning strategies * Participate in external brand positioning activities * Report any deviations from people practices that do not reflect organizational values * Conduct people management processes with fairness, transparency and diligent * Contribute to design and establishment of people management processes.
