Oracle Database Administrator Possess a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Database Administration, or a related field. Have at least five years of current experience in managing and administering Oracle databases. Note that current experience is defined as experience in supporting either the latest version or the next to latest database version. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, effective time management skills, good interpersonal skills, and must be able to demonstrate effective judgement with respect to business and financial matters that affect the work under the resources management. Possess effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Must collaborate effectively with other operational support teams. Possess a general understanding of ITIL processes and framework. ITIL foundation certification is preferred. Administers Oracle Software licenses and assures license compliance. Possess an Oracle Database Administration certification. Minimum of five years of practical experience as a database management resource. Minimum of five years of experience in an Oracle Database Administration. Minimum of two years of basic system and Network infrastructure administration. Minimum of one year of experience in various Virtualization tools, VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V, and Oracle Virtual Machine. Minimum of two years of experience with PL/SQL programming using SQL developer, Toad; experience in Microsoft SQL Server database management. Minimum of two years of experience working in virtualization environment preferably with Oracle VM servers and MS Hyper-V VMware infrastructure. Minimum of two years of experience with installation, configuration, deployment, migration, backup, and recovery of Oracle application servers.
