Please find the job description below and let me know your interest, Position: SRE Architect Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months Job Description: Lead assessment and SRE modernization/definition efforts for assigned portfolio Define priorities for all SRE modernization efforts with respect to SRE Maturity model Perform gap assessment Work closely with client executive level leadership to coach and manage expectations for SRE modernization efforts Build actionable backlog for SRE implementation work and work with product owners to finalize backlog and identify quick wins Implement quick wins to establish SRE foundations Deliver backlog iterations with which will include implementing observability across various platforms/databases, capacity, performance tuning, capturing metrics and making environments more resilient. Skills Needed: Well versed in SRE principles of observability, visibility, metrics including SRO/SLA/SLI, dashboards, monitoring, Incident/Problem/Event Management, automation and performance improvement Senior level SRE architecture skills Exceptional thought leadership and coaching skills around SRE, including interacting with all levels of client executives Well versed in the following tech stack VMware, Azure, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana Splunk, Java, Scripting (Shell, Python) o Must also be well versed in at least 1 of the tech stacks 1. Weblogic observability, performance and capacity tuning, VMware Vsphere 2. Observability and monitoring of Enterprise Shared services such as Peoplesoft, Oracle business suite, experience with observability, performance and capacity tuning of Enterprise systems (HR & Finance tools) AND experience in building SRE capabilities for Java technology stack 3.
