Role: Hyperion Planning System consultant Location- Sunnyvale, California (Day 1 onsite) Mode of Hiring: Contract Job Description: The person will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement and support Hyperion financial planning database (Oracle EPMA Hyperion version11 or higher) used for budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting purposes, and optimizes Hyperion capabilities. Skill/Job Requirements: Minimum 10 Years overall + 5 years Hyperion. Experience in Hyperion System 11.1.2.4 modules (Essbase BSO, Essbase ASO, Planning , Smartview VBA) Strong Experience with ETL tools - ODI, SQL Database, and Oracle Database. Good knowledge of SQL/Oracle query writing and analysis. Strong scripting experience in developing Calc Scripts, MaxL Scripts, Batch Scripts, reporting using Excel Add-in/Smartview custom utility. Extensive knowledge in integrating MSAD and other LDAP technologies, LCM, Skilled in performance tuning, upgrading, testing, server maintenance, back-up planning, security administration and migration Extensive experience in defining hierarchy, dimensions and formulas in Hyperion Essbase. Good to have experience on DRM, Oracle Hyperion 11.2 on-premise version. Good to have knowledge of SAP ERP system and accounting practices. Understanding of Financial Planning processes and how they integrate with other areas of an organization Ability to perform all tasks in the implementation cycle, including business process definition, configuration and unit testing, support of user acceptance testing and post-live support Roles and Responsibilities: Maintain, enhance and support the Hyperion financial planning database used for budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting purposes, and optimize Hyperion capabilities. Design, develop and evolve existing Hyperion modeling and structure to meet current and future needs. Performance tuning, upgrading, testing, server maintenance, back-up planning, security administration and migration. Providing support to the Hyperion user community.
