Looking for local people Candidates must have a LinkedIn profile with a picture Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior PeopleSoft Analyst with a background in ERP Business Analysis to join our team working on-site 2 days per week at Austin, Texas. Looking for local people. This role will be responsible for performing advanced PeopleSoft systems analysis, with a focus on Benefits and Pension Administration. The Senior PeopleSoft Analyst will possess the ability to delve into development code, comprehend its functionality, and extract critical information for process optimization and documentation purposes. General Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing PeopleSoft systems, specifically in the areas of Benefits and Pension Administration. Possess the capability to decipher and understand development code within PeopleSoft environments to capture the current state (As Is) information and data. Collaborate with developers and technical teams to comprehend coding logic and functionality, minimizing the need for external assistance. Identify and research complex problems within the PeopleSoft ecosystem, providing root cause analysis and solutions. Create detailed documentation outlining system processes, code functionality, and As Is data structures. Interface with cross-functional teams to map data fields between PeopleSoft and TELUS software, ensuring seamless data integration. Functional Responsibilities: Research and Problem Solving: Investigate and analyze intricate system issues and discrepancies. Develop comprehensive problem-solving strategies and solutions. Data Field Mapping: Establish data field mapping protocols between PeopleSoft and TELUS software. Ensure accurate and efficient data exchange between systems. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify the underlying reasons for system issues. Recommend and implement corrective actions to resolve identified issues. Data Management and Demographics: Manage and manipulate data within the PeopleSoft environment. Work with demographic data sets to support system analysis and enhancements. Qualifications: Extensive experience working with PeopleSoft systems, particularly in Benefits and Pension Administration modules. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform deep analysis and problem-solving. Background in pension, healthcare, and HIPAA regulations preferred. Curious and innovative mindset with a drive for continuous learning and improvement for root cause analysis. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
