This role involves optimizing AWS Costs, analyzing spending patterns, and providing insights to ensure efficient resource allocation and will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Platform Infrastructure DevOps team) to optimize AWS environment, implement best DevOps practices, and drive cost savings initiatives. Responsibilities : Monitor, analyze, and optimize AWS usage to ensure cost-efficient resource allocation. Identify cost optimization opportunities by analyzing AWS cost and usage reports and make recommendations to reduce operation costs while maintaining performance and reliability. Optimize AWS costs by analyzing usage patterns and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Generate financial reports and collaborate with finance teams for budget planning and tracking. Implement cost allocation mechanisms and ensure accurate attribution of AWS costs. Enforce AWS usage policies to optimize resource utilization and prevent overspending. Analyze data to provide actionable insights for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and AWS account managers to align spending with business objectives. Skills/Qualifications: 4 to 5 years of strong experience managing AWS costs and optimizing cloud expenditures. Proficiency in AWS services, architecture, and cloud cost components. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with financial data analysis and reporting. Knowledge of AWS cost management tools and cloud cost optimization solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accurate financial calculations and reporting. Preferred : AWS certification in Cost Management, such as AWS Certified Cost Explorer or AWS Certified Cloud Financial Management. Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for data manipulation and automation. Knowledge of financial frameworks and concepts related to cloud cost management.
