Position: MongoDB Administrator (DBA) Location: ATLANTA, GA (ONSITE) Duration: Long Term Project Experience: 10+ Job Role and Responsibilities: An Experienced Mongo DBA who will maintain MongoDB databases while optimizing the performance, security, the availability of MongoDB clusters. A Mongo DBA who is a highly motivated individual responsible for implementing enhancements to all aspects of the current & future MongoDB architecture. Similarly, they will need to ensure that all database systems are high performing and highly available at all times. Responsibilities: Configure, administer, and maintain MongoDB instances on-prem/on-cloud. Use MongoDB Management Service/Ops Manager to automate a variety of tasks which includes backups, recovery, replication, and restoration. Health check of MongoDB Databases Monitoring at Server, database, and collections level using a variety of MongoDB Tools Database profiling, Locks, Memory Usage, Number of Connections, Page Faults Export/Import data to/from MongoDB Hands-on experience in handling High Availability and Disaster Recovery configuration & issues Data Management in MongoDB Comprehend and translate business requirements into technical specifications & build efficient solutions in MongoDB. Database Migrations & Upgrades Apply database patches. Server/application performance tuning Release & Deployments Management Coordinate with Vendor Support Teams on Issues, Upgrades, or any additional technical assistance Required Skills: 4 years of relevant experience in MongoDB database administration. 8 Years of hands-on experience in Database Administration. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Strong written, communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills Experience in implementing Best Practices required for Database Administration Experience in dealing with High Availability solutions and recommendations.
