Job Title: Java Tech Lead Client: Cognizant/Morgan Stanley Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid Onsite) Duration: Long Term Contract Rate: $67/hr on C2C Job Description: Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation. Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients. Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implement effective solutions. Experience with Java/J2EE, SOA Webservices, REST and Services Oriented Architecture. Expertise in Object Oriented Design, Design patterns, Architecture and Application Integration. Working knowledge of Databases including Design, SQL proficiency and performance tunings. Must have experience with CI/CD pipeline, Maven and GIT Must have experience with Performance tunings tools like Jprofiler Must have experience with Linux platform. Knowledge of Rest API development and integration. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and be creative within a team. Proven ability to build, manage and foster in a team-oriented environment. Should be hands-on for this position Experience: above 10 years, good Handson experience (no managerial activities) Required Skills: Java/J2EE, Microservices, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle database Nice to have skills: Spring Boot, Kafka, Control-M Roles & Responsibilities: Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation. Communicates and enforces coding standards Demonstrate engineering best practices CI, CD and Code quality tools.
