Job Description - Job Title - AWS Cloud Network Infrastructure Engineer Location - Las Vegas, Nevada onsite/Hybrid Work Authorization:- US Citizen or Green Card Holder Duration:- 6 Months MOI:- Skype Absolutely no DevOps candidates. The word Infrastructure needs to be all over the resume. Much less of the word application. Really need this engineering design level candidate. The candidates need to be able to speaks to their EKS and Terraform experience. I need skills listed under the Engineering Design level in the resume. As the AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deployment, and optimization of cloud-based network infrastructures. Key Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of IT industry experience with a focus on cloud networking Expertise in Amazon VPC, AWS Direct Connect, AWS Transit Gateway, Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon Route 53, and more Strong grasp of network design principles and hybrid networking configurations Proficiency in implementing VPC security groups, IAM roles, and CloudFormation/Terraform for infrastructure provisioning Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CDN, and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), or relevent technologies Familiarity with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch for ensuring network performance and security Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, VPN, BGP, and VPC peering Eks and terraform must be strong. Data going both directions Demonstrated ability in scaling and optimizing network resources for cost efficiency and superior performance Experience with network migration strategies and compliance/governance considerations Familiarity with protocols such as SNMP, SMTP, FTP, SSH, and RDP Understanding of AWS PrivateLink, AWS Transit Gateway Network Manager, and S3 Transfer Acceleration Experience with AWS and/or Azure including IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS, and cloud monitoring tools (PLUS) Knowledge of API design, DevOps, microservices, and the SDLC (PLUS) Experience with supporting business continuity and disaster recovery planning (PLUS) Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, VMWare, OpenShift, and OpenStack (PLUS) Hands-on experience with virtualization, servers, and network hardware and software, and storage (PLUS) Thanks and Regards.
