From: Krishna, Orchids [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] TITLE: Project Manager Location: Richmond, VA (ONSITE) Rate: Upto $85 per hour JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Project Manager for the Virginia Crisis Connect Project, which is a component of the Governor's Right Help Right Now Plan (a Key High Priority Project) and must be able to lead and manage Saas based projects. ON SITE as needed at DBHDS Central Office - Preferred (Parking will be in public lots with a daily rate (cost to be incurred by candidate). Pls note: Role will be majority remote HOWEVER Mgr is requesting the candidate be within 3 hours' drive of the DBHDS office in case an onsite meeting is required. They will make every effort to provide advanced notice but being within driving distance helps in case there needs to be a quick turnaround. ABOUT THE ROLE Coordinate vendors and consultants, and DBHDS staff as assigned, in the execution of IT projects and related procurements. Must be able to lead and manage Saas based projects. Coordinate and oversee the development of proposals, statement of work, statement of requirements and RFP responses. Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments and removing roadblock Manage working relationships with key stakeholders, including executive management, business management, vendors, project sponsors, suppliers, and technology management. Set project goals that are consistent with technical objectives and the agencys overall technology strategy. Track and communicate a project's progress from a schedule, cost, and risk perspective to the project team, customers, and project stakeholders. Collaborate with technology leads and solution architects to incorporate agency best practices into project plans. Drive consistent project delivery through the entire project lifecycle, including, execution of procurements, definition of project plans, resource allocation, management of project risks, scope, and schedule, delivery of value, and well-ordered transitions to operations. Monitor progress by third-party vendors and define and measure their progress with metrics. Develop and maintain project budget, plans, task lists, schedules, risks, and status, to include resource allocation and schedules. Adhere to DBHDS & VITA project management practices and governance requirements. Additional responsibilities as assigned. MINIMUM SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (10 Years) Strong experience in leading and managing SaaS based projects Proficient in communication and negotiation at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership Proficient in scheduling and time management Experience leading the business and IT resources through the discovery and documentation of business and technical requirements in Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to define and balance the competing demands for quality, scope, schedule, and cost. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to simplify and briefly, succinctly communicate complex issues to mu Active PMP-certified required Proficient in both waterfall and agile project management techniques Experience with procuring technology solutions - managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process The resource will agree to obtain VITA PMDP qualification within 2 weeks of starting (candidate required to cover $150 fee).
