This job provides analysis in the development and support of projects and data analysis. Determines how decision support systems will provide information required to make effective business decisions; translates requirements into applications that employ appropriate decision support and reporting tools. Performs modeling of data sources and flows, works with data management staff to define an operational framework that will define, develop and implement policies and security frameworks to ensure precise and secure delivery of knowledge and information. This resource will be part of a Medicaid team. Resource wil be supporting Data Integration. Following skills, knowledge, and history are essential : - data, dashboards, analystics, trends, SAS/SQL coding, experience with advanced code queries & logic, experience with relational databases, report builds, ad-hoc analytics, data visualization (Tableau) Resource will closely working with and aligned with the business side of the team, and their experience will not likely be tied to Healthcare; it's OK if they don't have healthcare experience. Resource will be answering vague requests and working with sales and marketing teams as well. Claims experience not necessary. It's a plus if the resource has hands-on experience in building/creating new reporting and data analysis. Resources with background/educational background in math/statistics/engineering/physics would likely do well at this position.
