Job Description - need candidate from banking experience Job title: Data Test Engineer- Cloud Location: Hybrid in Vienn, VA US , , & TN Visa Description: Data Test Engineer (Cloud) The Data Testing Engineer plans and manages processes through the life cycle of data analytics, advocates for data integrity and availability, and drives resolution of issues that impede the quality assurance effort. This role will work in the Enterprise Data and Information Management team in the Information Services Department. The candidate will have experience with managing testing efforts across multiple data products and bring to market related enterprise capabilities in cloud. Require experience with integration, regression, performance, and functional testing to ensure compliance with business requirements and Navy Federal business practices. Must cultivate effective engagement with business stakeholders on User Acceptance Testing to ensure deliverables meet expectations. Assist in the analysis of functional and technical requirements and creating test plans for data products. Have ability to drive initiatives independently. Responsibilities: Collaborate in Testing for enterprise data analytics products. Validate data source, data transformations in Target state tables in Data Lake. Ensure timelines/deadlines/quality of deliverables Ensure processes and procedures are in place to drive quality through the software development life cycle Lead testing from inception to completion of successful production implementation Develop test plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications Write automation test plans, identify test cases, document testing strategy Create, modify and/or locate the data and conditions needed to execute test cases Modify, coordinate, and schedule input to maintain the test environments Create and edit test cases in accordance with business requirements Identify areas for improved testing processes Facilitate defect management and resolution Report testing metrics including time spent, testing time lost, and discrepancies found Ensure clear, concise, and effective communication of material Promote agile principles and methodology Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience Experience in testing in Databricks Notebook using SQL/spark script.
