Role :- Senior DevOps/Cloud Architect (GCP) Location :- Atlanta, GA (Remote ) Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps/Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud services, strong automation capabilities, and expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure Design and Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP and AWS. Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency while maintaining high performance and reliability. Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure the health and availability of cloud services. Site Reliability Engineering: Apply SRE principles to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of applications and services. Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to maintain service availability. Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements to prevent future incidents. Automation and Configuration Management: Implement automation scripts and tools using Ansible, Terraform, and other automation technologies to streamline deployment and management processes. Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates to ensure consistency and repeatability of infrastructure deployments. CI/CD Pipeline Setup and Management: Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and testing. Work closely with development teams to integrate CI/CD processes into their workflows. Continuously improve and optimize CI/CD pipelines for speed, reliability, and security. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance standards for cloud infrastructure. Conduct regular security assessments and audits and remediate vulnerabilities. Collaborate with the security team to enhance the overall security posture of the cloud environment. Documentation and Training: Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices. Provide training and guidance to team members on cloud and DevOps technologies. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders. Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical team members and leadership. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Extensive experience (5+ years) designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions on GCP and AWS. Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Strong experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack, DataDog). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Solutions Architect) are a plus.
