Job Description Sr. Network Engineer Duration: 4+ Months Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite) Responsibilities: Cisco Catalyst 9000 series configuration, installation and troubleshooting Cisco Wireless APs installation and replacement Cisco Wireless APs (WiFi 5 APs: 3802i, WiFi 6 APs: 91xx) staging - scan serial number, MAC address to database as well as boxing including the appropriate patch cords and brackets for APs installation Support Wireless WiFi 5 upgrade (or WiFi 6) cutover - assist on WiFi 5 as well as WiFi 6 APs cutover on various buildings on campus Assist IT teams on rack & stack, network data jacks/ports patching, fiber uplink ports patching/troubleshooting Work on allocating various projects for campus: Wireless site survey, network infrastructure upgrade survey/implementation Assist IT teams on rack & stack, network data jacks/ports patching in IDFs/MDFs, fiber uplink ports patching/troubleshooting as well as update database for "jack, switch port and location information".
