Role: Business Analyst Location: Rensselaer, New York Duration: 24 Months Client: NY State Client Job ID#: HBITS-05-12957 Description Provide subject matter expertise and support to the OCFS IES project to ensure OCFS' need are met on the project. Duties Attend meetings on the larger IES project to provide subject matter expertise as to their work with the WMS system. Assist the OCFS IES team and all of the other stakeholders in OCFS understand the needs of the local districts as far as what IES needs to do for them so that the needs are met. Help plan out needed system changes with IES project and it's interfacing system such as CONNECTIONS. Mandatory Requirements Experience (6+ Years) Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 60 months of experience working in a NYS Local Department of Social Services (LDSS) using the Welfare Management System (WMS) and/or Benefits Issuance Control System (BICS). 60 months of experience working directly with users providing support with the Welfare Management System (WMS) or Benefits Issuance Control System (BICS) through use of the system or using data generated by these systems. 60 months of child welfare experience interpreting regulations governing practice and program outcomes in relation to WMS/BICS and the populations they serve. 60 months of experience leading or implementing projects involving the systems: Welfare Management System (WMS), Benefit Issuance and Control System (BICS), Automated Claiming System (ACS), CONNECTIONS or other Child Welfare systems used by a Local District of Social Services (LDSS). 60 months of experience working in a NYS Local Department of Social Services (LDSS) using CONNECTIONS (the New York State Child Welfare application).
