Very strong communication skills Also, it is important that their resume speaks about what exactly they have done with DataBricks. Manager has rejected resumes because they mention it but have no details on what their experience with Databricks truly is. I will not call candidates who only mention DataBricks a couple of times. We need context around their Databricks experience. Client needs someone who comes from a Data BI type of environment. Who has true development skills. Having all the other drag and drop tools experience in OK, but they must have the know-how to code manually because of the type of environment they are. They use Databricks and need a true developer with experience in Python, SQL. Traditional tools they use: Databricks Tableau SQL Python Non-traditional inputs into DataWarehouse: GoogleDocs and Smartsheets. Connected to ERP and WMS MUST have strong DataBricks experience, minimum of 3 years of recent experience (Using it now or withing last few months) They dont use Azure Data Factory, Informatica or anything else. They use Databricks for everything there so it is important this person is very strong with DataBricks and can do the manual work. They dont have any of the GUI other companies use. He wants to be able to understand from the resume exactly what the person has done with DataBricks. They must have a solid Databricks experience architecting pipelines, and knows how to move data from A to B. They work on all ELT. Will be working on Data Unity Catalogs, Delta Lake, managing orchestration of Data using Databricks, MUST have very strong Python experience and able to do Joins with Python Must have excellent SQL ---- very advanced SQL skills required He would be ok with 3 years of RECENT DataBricks experience, nothing less than 3 years. This role is for someone who loves manual coding. They dont use any of the short-cut tools, so it is important they love to do this.
