As a principal engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and maintaining our operational systems, ensuring their efficiency, reliability, and performance. The ideal candidate is an expert in Java, J2EE, Microservices, App Dynamics, Blue/Green Server deployments, Weblogic, API integration (PiNXT, REST), monitoring tools, and Oracle. Mobile experience is a plus, while a proven ability to manage diverse IT systems in a fast-paced environment is essential. Responsibilities: Architect and maintain operational systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. Utilize expertise in Java, J2EE, Microservices, App Dynamics, and other relevant technologies to design and develop robust solutions. Implement Blue/Green Server deployment strategies for production releases. Oversee Weblogic configuration and administration to support applications. Integrate and manage APIs, including PiNXT and REST, to enhance system functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish efficient monitoring systems and dashboards. Utilize Oracle databases for data management and integration purposes. Leverage mobile experience to enhance system capabilities (preferred). Manage multiple IT systems within a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth operations. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing system performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing downtime. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred). Extensive professional experience in operational support, system architecture, and engineering. Expertise in Java, J2EE, Microservices, App Dynamics, and Blue/Green Server deployments. Strong knowledge of Weblogic configuration, API integration (PiNXT, REST), and Oracle databases. Proficiency in designing and maintaining monitoring systems and dashboards. Previous experience in the mobile space is a plus. Proven ability to manage and maintain multiple IT systems in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
