Role: SAP ABAP S4 HANA Consultant Location : Raritan, NJ ( Day 1 Onsite ) Duration : Long - Term Contract Candidate Must be in NY/NJ/PA Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP with HANA Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications and solutions using ABAP programming language with a focus on HANA database technology. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions that meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP programming language, with a strong emphasis on HANA database technology. Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA data models, views, and procedures to support reporting and analytics needs. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP ABAP and HANA, ensuring system stability and performance. Perform system enhancements, upgrades, and patches to keep the SAP landscape up-to-date. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, code comments, and configuration records. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing, deployment, and support. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in SAP ABAP and HANA to provide innovative solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with hands-on experience in SAP HANA. Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and development tools. Expertise in SAP HANA development, including data modeling, SQL scripting, and performance optimization. Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: SAP certification in ABAP or HANA. Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation projects. Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform and integration technologies.
