Kindly find the below-mentioned job description and if interested, share your updated resume at [email protected] Role: Application Tester - Automation Location: REMOTE (25664), Must live in the United States Duration: Long Term Interview: Video Visa: USC and GC Duties: Functional testing - Validate all front-end functionality such as search, visualization, navigation, and workflows by creating test cases based on specifications. API testing - Test backend APIs thoroughly with positive and negative test data. Focus on performance, load, and security. Data validation testing - Check data pipelines and transformations, and verify correctness of aggregated data views. Integration testing Ensure smooth integration between frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers. End-to-end testing. Access and security testing Validate role-based access, authentication, and data policies are enforced properly. Availability testing Check health monitoring, logging, and failover work properly during component failures. Browser compatibility testing Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices, including mobile. The extensive testing across functional, non-functional, and user-perspective areas is crucial to delivering a robust data portal with a quality user experience. Test automation enables keeping up with rapid development cycles. Education Qualification: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline is required. General Experience: 8 years of experience as an analyst/tester on software projects in supporting requirement analysis, application test script development, and execution. 5 years of experience in mapping the business and technical requirements into test cases and generating test scripts. 5 years of practical experience in using relational databases and generating SQL scripts is required. 5 years of experience in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Strong ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams and users. Should be able to triage change requests, and incidents during all phases of design, development, testing, and training. Practical knowledge in manual and automated testing, 508 compliance, performance, UAT, Unit, regression, and integration testing. Experience with automated testing and automated testing tools.
