[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Details: Job Title:QA Tester- Onsite Hybrid- NY-NY Work Location: New York, NY (This is a HYBRID position.Minimum 3 days a week ONSITE.) Scheduled Work Hours:35 hours/week Assignment Start Date:Immediate start Duration of Contract:7 months SCOPE OF SERVICES The MyCity Portal will be a One-Stop portal allowing New Yorkers to find, check eligibility, and apply for vital services. Today, City services are challenging to find and have cumbersome and confusing processes, and some continue to require long PDF application submissions. Data from applications and services are not managed centrally, resulting in no easy mechanism to share data amongst City agencies. Using RACL and integrating with the Cloud OTI Integration Platform, the Quality Assurance Tester will be required to: Review the business functional requirements documentation. Translate and dissect functional requirements into test scenarios and test cases. Prepare detailed test estimation. Prepare test cases. Perform functional and cross browser compatibility testing. Report and document issues found. Work with developers to ensure all test findings are resolved in timely manner. Attend project meetings. Provide weekly project status to QA Manager. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE At least 4 years of proven experience testing complex web-based user interfaces. 4+ years of experience preparing, documenting, and executing test criteria, test cases, test scripts, and test plans for IT system projects. Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex SQL scripts and stored procedures for database testing. Strong hands-on experience in using Oracle database, Toad, SQL Developer. Strong analytical skills and possess the ability to decipher functional requirements and translate them into high level test scenarios and validations for test effort estimation. Familiarity with different system development techniques such as Waterfall, Agile, etc. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and communicate with staff of all levels as well as users and other divisions and agencies. Working knowledge of large-scale system integration and implementation. Possess a proactive attitude with the ability to follow through on commitments DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Detailed knowledge of both functional and database testing with proven experience using Azure.
