The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Workday and preferably hold Workday Functional Certifications, including Workday Pro certification in one or multiple HCM modules. Key Responsibilities: Provide subject matter functional expertise in Workday for day-to-day support and development. Configure business processes, data uploads (EIB), and troubleshoot issues, specifically for Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent Management, Time & Absence. Experience in Workday payroll troubleshooting, year-end activities, and running payroll (full cycle). Proficiency in handling USA and Canada payroll using Workday. Offer analytical support for payroll and GL issues. Maintain training and communication materials and potentially participate in training delivery. Drive HR process improvements and enhancements to end-user experience. Participate in the deployment of new businesses, including mapping current processes, identifying gaps, recommending changes, defining requirements, configuring, testing, and validating changes. Configure Workday security, including user roles, permissions, data access policies, and integration user accounts. Handle support tickets efficiently, including P1 tickets, using a ticketing system. Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Stay updated on new Workday features and functionality and provide recommendations on leveraging them for efficiency and effectiveness.
