Role: Senior Database Administrator Location: St Louis, MO (Hybrid) Duration: 6 months VISA: USC GC H4Ead MOI: Video Relocation will work but the candidate should be onsite from day 1, local to MO will be preferred Job Description: Duties: Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience Maintain and revise configuration and security standards, guidelines, and best practices for MongoDB technology Assist in the adoption of Cloud infrastructure platforms and the integration of a hybrid architecture Perform installations and configurations of grid infrastructure, databases, and clients Design, implement, and maintain backup and recovery strategies on Database Management Systems Support multiple services and databases of medium complexity with concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility of data Design, install, configure, and maintain High Availability Database solutions Design, implement, maintain Disaster Recovery methodologies and creates documentation Gather business requirements and designs, and implement multiple projects along with the support of production Desired Skills/Experience: Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field 3+ years of experience working with Mongo, Redis, Oracle and other database management systems in testing, implementation, maintenance and administration in a multiple platform environment Experience in the facilitation of designing and building on MongoDB, NoSQL, and Redis infrastructure Experience in setup and use of monitoring and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve performance issues Ability to troubleshoot alerts using alert logs, Jobs, Disk Group, or Tablespace Ability to act as a mentor for Database Administrators and Associate Database Administrators Experience with one or more modern scripting or automation languages such as Ansible or Python Experience creating standard operational procedures and templates Best Regards, Prajojita Biswal Technical Recruiter, Vyze Inc.
