Job Description : Data Scientist - Data and Analytics Location: Plano TX Duration: Contract Experience: 12+ years MUST Data Scientist with expertise in streaming data pipelines, ETL and ELT jobs, Reports and Visualization, Data warehousing, AWS S3, AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, Python, Pandas, Numpy, AI, ML, Deep Learning, model training, MLOps, Anomaly Detection, Predictive Analytics, and more, to play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable intelligence Responsibilities: Data Pipeline Design: Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect to design and implement efficient and scalable streaming data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration solutions. Reports and Visualization: Develop reports and visualizations that provide meaningful insights to clients, leveraging tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Data Warehousing: Architect and optimize data warehousing solutions, including AWS Redshift, to support advanced analytics and reporting needs. Data Engineering: Utilize AWS Glue or similar technologies for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks, ensuring data quality and accuracy. Data Analysis: Apply advanced data analysis techniques, including Python, Pandas, Numpy, R, and statistical methods, to extract valuable insights from large datasets. AI and ML: Develop and train machine learning models using AI and ML frameworks, with a focus on deep learning techniques. MLOps: Implement MLOps best practices to streamline the model development, deployment, and monitoring processes. Anomaly Detection: Build and deploy anomaly detection algorithms to identify irregularities in data and trigger alerts when necessary. Predictive Analytics: Create predictive models to forecast trends, behavior, and outcomes, enabling proactive decision-making. Data Security: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations while handling sensitive information. Documentation: Document data science processes, methodologies, and best practices for knowledge sharing and replication. Experience, Skills, and Qualifications: Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field. Proven experience (minimum 6 years) as a Data Scientist with expertise in data and analytics, streaming data pipelines, ETL/ELT jobs, reports and visualization, data warehousing, and more. Strong proficiency in Python, Pandas, Numpy, and data manipulation libraries. Experience with AWS services, including AWS S3, AWS Redshift, and AWS Glue. Deep knowledge of AI and ML, including deep learning, model training, and MLOps. Demonstrated experience in anomaly detection and predictive analytics. Excellent data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Power BI. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of data security best practices and data governance.
