Title Greenplum Platform Admin Duration 6-9 Months Location Remote Job Description : o Must have 5 to 8 years of Greenplum Database Administration experience o Understand Massively Parallel Processing design principals, security, and the factors that affect distributed system performance o Perform Greenplum database administration related tasks in key areas of System Administration, Database Administration, Backup, Archive & Restore Management, Performance Management & Reporting o Security Management and enhancements - Security overhead and vulnerabilities o Experience with Linux operating systems and scripting languages such as Shell, Python o Suppport and Operations experience in managing Greenplum platforms and monitoring o Proactive & Reactive alerts monitoring & knowledge on query logging and resource usage data analysis o Database Fragmentation, Database Maintenance tasks with understanding on data archive/restore policies o Responsible for day-to-day MPP based Database Administration activities like role management, concurrency control, Database monitoring o Willing to work in covering weekend shifts o Supporting users with access requests, migration tasks, debugging and analyzing issues and providing support/solution for the same Align to business outcomes (backlog) and business & IT strategy cascade Regards Sumit Katiyar Recruiting Manager Technocraft Solutions LLC.
