JOB DESCRIPTION: JOB TITLE: Network Security Analyst LOCATION: FULLY REMOTE BUT (CST time zone preferred) WORK VISA: USC AND GC ONLY CLIENT: Capgemini Role and Responsibilities: Implement and support Cisco ASA Firewalls Understanding of industrial control systems and protection with a OT firewall Troubleshooting skills, fault isolation and resolution Networking, routing protocols and network design Change management supporting new IT, engineering, and manufacturing controls processes. Support Cisco ASA Firewalls - firewall management services, documentation, administration, ongoing support, vendor coordination, change management and event trend analysis. Document and maintain firewall policies and associated Processes. Support 3M team in defining and establishing the Processes, procedures, and standards for the service. Maintain up-to-date documentation including Standard Operating Procedures ("SOP") Perform ASA firewall patching and configuration management activities where applicable and approved by 3M. Coordinate with the firewall platform vendor for level-4 support to resolve product-specific issues. Execute firewall configurations/rule changes per the 3M's Change Management Process. Follow the 3M Change Management Process and maintain applicable change management documents, including change management plan, impact analysis, test plan, roll-back plan, and perform a backup before executing the change. Maintain up-to-date configuration information of ASA firewalls. Perform monthly backup of the firewall configuration and store at the 3M provided repository. Apply operating system hardening, enabling/disabling all non-active ports and associated security controls on ASA Firewalls. Recommend Cisco ASA Firewall change requests for approval. Analyze and take appropriate action on intrusion detections. Analyze and recommend action on ASA Firewall related incidents; notify appropriate owners and IT Security Governance Review and approve access requests. Provide data for audit indicating changes made to access control lists to facilitate audits and other investigations. Participate in investigating possible security violations. Track and maintain operational security access metrics. Document relevant processes and their implications on information security. Required Skills and Experience: Highschool diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Five (5) years of IT Experience in a private, public, government or military environment Cisco ASA Firewalls.
