This includes developing and testing backup and recovery procedures, as well as monitoring the backup system to ensure that it is running properly. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field 3+ years of experience in backup and recovery Experience with Solaris and Oracle technologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage the backup and recovery plan for the Solaris to Oracle migration project Develop and test backup and recovery procedures Monitor the backup system to ensure that it is running properly Coordinate with the other members of the migration team to ensure that the backup and recovery plan is aligned with the overall project goals Keep up-to-date with the latest backup and recovery technologies and trends Other duties as assigned The Backup Specialist will play a critical role in the Solaris to Oracle migration project.
