Role: Sr Network Engineer With IPSEC VPN AND CCNA Location: Remote Duration: 12+ Months Rate: $50/Hr on C2C Job description: IDEAL BACKGROUND: The ideal candidate will be a Mid-leel network engineer with Cisco IPSEC PN experience. We need network engineers familiar with building IPSEC site-to-site PN tunnels, using Cisco CLI. Along with these technical skills, this position also requires outstanding communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate will be dealing with multiple external 3rd party companies, negotiating PN ariables, coordinating, and scheduling the changes, and troubleshooting connectiity issues after deployment. TOP REQUIREMENTS: Years of experience: 6+ years Configuration and troubleshooting of IPSEC site-to-site PNs Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks Communicate effectiely with leadership, peers, project managers, clients, and stakeholders Flexible work schedule with ability to make after hours changes. What experience will set candidates apart from one another Hands on experience with Cisco routers building site-to-site IPSEC tunnels. Clear and articulate erbal and written/documentation skills. Primary Responsibilities: Configuration and troubleshooting of IPSEC site-to-site PNs. Author technical documentation such as network diagrams Monitor network performance and implement performance tuning when necessary. Diagnose connectiity problems and resole network issues. Work closely with clients and endors on implementation of products and serices Ensure security and operational standards and procedures are maintained in accordance with compliance requirements, HIPAA standards, and industry best practices Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance only on the most complex tasks. Communicate effectiely with leadership, peers, project managers, clients, and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: CCNA or higher certification Experience installing and maintaining Cisco routers and switches.
