Job Title : AWS Operations Lead / Admin Location : Natick, MA (Initial Remote) Contract : C2C Job Description : Responsibilities: Minimum 10 to 12 years experience Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex cloud architectures on the AWS platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. Evaluate existing systems and applications, identifying opportunities for migration to the AWS cloud. Design secure and scalable cloud solutions that adhere to industry standards and best practices. Implement automation and orchestration processes to streamline deployment and management of cloud resources. Perform cost analysis and optimization to ensure efficient resource utilization. Rapidly develop PoC/PoV to demonstrate technical feasibility. Understand technology challenges and limitations and provide secure and scalable alternatives. Conduct regular assessments of cloud architecture for potential improvements and updates. Stay current with emerging AWS services and technologies, integrating them into architecture designs as appropriate. Work closely with stakeholders to communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively. Qualifications: Experience level : 12+ Yrs. with min 5+ years in Cloud based technologies (AWS preferred) Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred. AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is desired. Demonstrated experience building data products and solution on AWS stack of products Experience with general purpose data engineering tools and technologies such Python, Java, Spark , PySpark ,Scala etc Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native applications, serverless architectures etc. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform. Good knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments. Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
